Humboldt girls win regional opener in 3 sets

The Humboldt volleyball team opened Class 3A regional tournament play Monday night (Oct. 26) with a 3-set sweep over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows in the Humboldt gym. The Wildcats prevailed by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-17. Humboldt advances into a regional semifinal round match against Gilbert or Roland-Story, who met Monday night in Gilbert. Humboldt also tied a school record for wins in a season at 28. The Wildcats are 28-4 overall.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
