Humboldt girls top Cardinals, boys fall

Humboldt's varsity girls' basketball team improved their season record to 6-2 tonight (Dec. 21) by beating Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, 52-33 in Garner. Avery Terwilliger scored 17 points and Talyn Larsen 16 to pace Humboldt in their final game before the Christmas break.Humboldt's boys suffered their fourth straight loss tonight as they fell to GH/V, 71-43. Thomas Orness scored 12 points to lead Humboldt. The Wildats are 2-5 overall on the season.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
