Heidt's squad wins another state title in Minnesota
For the second time in four years, Jamie Heidt’s Kasson-Mantorville High School (Minnesota) wrestling team won the Class 2A state dual team championship on Feb. 25. Heidt, a 1994 Humboldt High School graduate, former University of Iowa wrestler and now high school head coach, guided his squad to a perfect, 25-0 dual record this past winter. Kasson-Mantorville was ranked 27th nationally by Intermat. His team also had eight placewinners out of nine entries in the individual state tournament, which followed the dual tournament.See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
