Wildcat boys’ soccer team returns 11 lettermen

Danny Zach begins his second year leading the Humboldt High boys’ soccer program with a lot of optimism. Zach took over the program a year ago and inherited a rebuilding project, which ended with an overall record of 3-14 in 2015. Thanks to the return of 11 lettermen and Zach’s familiarity with the program, there’s plenty of optimism for 2016. “It’s great to be returning for my second season leading the program and having that first year out of the way,” Zach said. “On the first day of practice everybody is a familiar face. Even before pre-season practice began, I was able to have some open gyms where I was able to visit with the kids and also get acquainted with the incoming freshmen.”See full story in the Humboldt Independent Newspaper.
