Wildcat softball, baseball teams win at Clarion

Humboldt's varsity softball and baseball teams picked up North Central Conference victories at Clarion on June 1. The Girls won, 8-6, while the boys rode the 19-strikeout performance of senior pitcher Chris Witzke for an 11-0 shutout victory. Witzke allowed just one hit in the contest. The Wildcat girls used a 10-hit attack in their victory.
Humboldt's girls are now 4-1 overall, 3-0 in the NCC. They play at Garner tonight (June 2).
Humboldt's boys are now 2-2 overall, 1-0 in the NCC. They visit Southeast Valley tonight (June 2) at Dayton.
