Humboldt softball team moves to 7-1

The Humboldt High softball team moved its season record to 7-1 overall by sweeping Eagle Grove (12-0) and Mason City (5-3) in two games on Saturday, June 4 in Humboldt. Avery Terwilliger pitched a 2-hitter in the first game, backed by an eight-hit attack. Ellie Jacobson pitched all seven innings in the second game, backed by seven hits at the plate.

Humboldt, also 3-0 in the North Central Conference, will return to action at home on Monday night, June 6, when they host Clear Lake in conference action.
