WBM/GCB girls in 4-2 victory

Mara Clark drove in two runs with two hits and Taylor Fogarty pitched a five-hitter to lead the West Bend-Mallard/Gilmore City-Bradgate softball team past Manson-Northwest Webster, 4-2 on June 13 in West Bend.
Clark went 2-for-3 at bat and knocked in two runs. Emma Thatcher singled, stole a base and scored twice and Elizabeth Gehrt singled in a run for the Wolverines, who scored one run in the first inning and added two in the third and one in the fifth. Jessica Morey scored twice.
Fogarty pitched all seven innings and gave up one earned run, five hits, walked one and struck out four.
