Storm Lake sprints past Wildcats, 38-19

Storm Lake brought its fleet-footed football team to Humboldt Friday night (Sept. 23) and left with a 38-19 victory over the Wildcats in a Class 3A District one contest at Mason Maach Field.
Storm Lake, which leads the district at 3-0, improved to 5-0 overall. Humboldt slipped to 1-2 in district play, 2-3 overall. The Wildcats will resume play at Spirit Lake on Friday, Sept. 30. Humboldt returns home on Oct. 7 to host Sergeant Bluff-Luton in their final home game of the regular season.
