Wildcats maintain NCC lead with 3-1 victory

Humboldt's varsity volleyball team kept their North Central Conference record intact at 5-0 by turning back the Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs in four sets on Sept. 29 in Hampton. Humboldt lost the first set, 25-17, but came back to claim the match in winning by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-11.

Humboldt, 23-0 overall and ranked No. 8 in the latest Class 3A statewide poll, will visit Algona in another key NCC clash on Oct. 6.
Humboldt will host Algona in a Class 3A regional tournament game on Oct. 19.
