No. 13 Humboldt girls fall to No. 6 Clear Lake, 54-30

The No. 13 (Class 3A) rated Humboldt girls basketball team pushed Clear Lake for two quarters before the No. 6 Lions broke the game open in the third quarter for a 54-30 triumph over Humboldt Thursday night (Jan. 19) in the Humboldt gym. Halie George and Sydney Lane each scored 11 points to lead Humboldt. Emily Snelling scored 17 for the Lions, who improved to 12-1 overall. Humboldt, now 8-3 overall, 5-2 in the North Central Conference visits Fort Dodge St. Edmond Friday night (Jan. 20).
