HHS girls to host H-D in 3A Region 4 opener

Post-season girls basketball pairings are now set and Humboldt will get to host a Class 3A Region 4 first round tournament game next month.
Humboldt will host Hampton-Dumont on Saturday, Feb. 11, 7 p.m. The winner of the contest will play North Polk or Collins-Maxwell-Baxter on Feb. 15 in a semifinal round game in the Humboldt gym.
The other half of Region 4 has No. 6 ranked Clear Lake hosting Dike-New Hartford in a first round game and Osage hosting Oelwein. The winners of those two games will meet in Clear Lake on Feb. 15 in the other semifinal round game.
The Region 4 championship game will be played on Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Clarion with the winner advancing into the state tournament Feb. 27-Mar. 4.
