Lopsided wins push Humboldt wrestlers to 22-3 on the season, Busse become's all-time win leader

The Humboldt wrestling team climbed to 22-3 overall on the season by crushing Eagle Grove (68-6) and Manson-Northwest Webster (68-9) Thursday night (Jan. 17) before a large Parent's Night home crowd.
The Wildcats' No. 2 ranked Joey Busse at 145 pounds, has become the school's all-time individual victories leader this past week, moving his career total to 161, surpassing 2012 graduate Brance Simms (158-8). Busse, who is 34-0 on this season, has an all-time win record of 161-26.
Next action for Humboldt is the North Central Conference tournament at Clarion on Saturday, Jan. 19. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m.
