Humboldt wrestlers wrestlers finish regular season 25-3

The Humboldt wrestling team ended their regular season by crushing Perry (55-19), Greene County (62-15) and Ballard Huxley (57-21) in a non-conference quad at Perry Thursday night (Jan.24). Humboldt finishes the regular season at 25-3 overall under veteran head coach Chad Beaman.
The Wildcats will now prepare for their Class 2A sectional tournament in Humboldt on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top two placewinners in each weight class advance to the Feb. 9 district meet in Clear Lake, which will determine entries in the state tournament in Des Moines Feb. 14-16.
