Humboldt girls 1st in coed indoor track

The Humboldt girls track team won another team title, taking top honors in their second, home coed indoor meet of the season, the Nielsen Family Invitational on Thursday, March 21 inside the Humboldt Recreation Center.

Humboldt claimed first-place finishes in six events. Paige DeWinter won the 200-meters in 28.64 seconds and the 400-metera in 1:07.87. Bryce Gidel won the 3,000-meters in 11:05.85.
Humboldt also won the 4x200-meter relay in 1:56.68, the 4x400-meter relay in 4:30.91, the 1,600-meter medley relay in 4:39.28 and the 4x60-meter shuttle hurdle relay in 40.10 seconds.

The combined team score with the boys had Humboldt winning with 173 points, followed by Spencer with 122, Southeast Valley with 78 and Forest City with 31.
