All-district honors announced

Despite an abbreviated season, the Humboldt High baseball team accomplished a lot during their recently completed season.
Wildcat head coach Jason Thurm guided his squad to a 10-7 overall record and 4-1 and runner-up in the North Central Conference.
Last week the league coaches announced their post-season all-conference team and Humboldt is represented by four athletes.
Senior Jacob Thurm was named first-team all-conference at pitcher. He is one of four unanimous picks. Junior infielder/pitcher Cade Witzke was selected as a first-team utility/DH.
Humboldt sophomore infielder Caden Matson was chosen second-team while junior catcher Colby Clarken was named to the third-team.
Thurm and Matson were also chosen to the all-district team in Class 3A. Matson was named first-team infielder while Thurm was chosen second-team at pitcher.
The honors didn’t stop there as Jacob Thurm was also named to the statewide, First Team Academic All-State squad, which covers all classes.
