Algona downs Wildcat girls, 16-4

Algona defeated Humboldt, 16-4 in three innings Friday night (June 11) in North Central Conference softball. Reagan Lee had one hit and Jori Hajek scored twice for Humboldt, which fell to 8-5 overall, 3-2 in conference play. Brianna Lange and Rylee Coyle shared the pitching duties for Humboldt.

Belmond Klemme defeated Humboldt in three innings, 20-6 in three innings in non-conference action in Humboldt on June 10. Kendal Clark and Jori Hajek each hit a double to lead Humboldt's batting order.

Humboldt girls suffer 1st league loss
The Humboldt girls' softball team suffered their first conference loss of the season Wednesday night (June 9) in Humboldt in a 4-1 setback to Iowa Falls-Alden.

The Wildcats totaled five hits at the plate. Brianna Lange pitched all seven innings for Humboldt.
Humboldt was without its ace pitcher Reagan Lee, who is nursing a throwing injury. Her status is day to day, according to coach Van Pelt.

Humboldt is 8-3 overall, 3-1 in conference play.

Humboldt softball team falls at Emmetsburg, 9-4
The 13th ranked Humboldt softball team fell at Emmetsburg Tuesday night (June 8), 9-4 in non-conference play. Kendal Clark homered and Jori Hajek doubled to lead the Wildcats. Elsie Hubbell and Brianna Lange shared the pitching duties for the Wildcats.

Humboldt downs Bulldogs, 11-1
Humboldt clubbed eight hits to back the five-hit pitching of Reagan Lee to upend the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs, 11-1 in six innings Monday night (June 7) in Humboldt.

Lee struck out three and walked just one. Jori Hajek hit a triple and double to lead Humboldt's batting attack. Kendal Clark and Alexis Hansen each hit a double.

The victory improved the Wildcats to 8-1 overall, 3-0 in the North Central Conference.

Humboldt returns to action at Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Monday, June 14.
