Humboldt sweeps CGD for outright NCC volleyball title!

The Humboldt volleyball team capped a perfect North Central Conference season in winning the outright league championship Thursday night (Oct. 14) by sweeping the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls by scores of 25-18, 25-12 and 25-16.

The victory ends Humboldt's regular season at 28-6 overall, 7-0 in the NCC. In going 7-0, the Wildcats were unbeaten, sweeping each team by a 3-0 tally for a perfect 21-0 performance.

Humboldt begins post-season tournament play at home on Thursday, Oct. 21, when they host Spencer or Storm Lake in a semifinal round Class 4A regional tournament match. Ticket sales will be online only on varsity bound.
