Matson, Orness 1st team all-NCC

Heier named 3rd team

League champion Humboldt placed three players on the coaches’ North Central Conference all-league squad.
The Wildcats, who went 12-2 in league play and finished 21-4 overall, including a spot in the Class 3A state tournament, were represented on the first-team by senior guard Caden Matson and junior guard Will Orness. Senior forward Jacob Heier was selected to the third-team.
Matson was one of three players who received unanimous selection. He was joined by Clear Lake senior guard Carson Toebe and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows senior center Connor State. Blake Janssen of Iowa Falls-Alden and Webster City junior Jaime Grossoehme round out the first-team.
