Details on July 4th parade announced


This is the parade route (the same as past years with the exception of 2020) for the annual 4th of July Parade in downtown Humboldt. It begins Monday, July 4 at 7 p.m.

The Humboldt City Council on Monday night heard from Cody Lawman with the Humboldt 4th of July Parade Committee.
Lawman said plans are underway for the annual 4th of July Parade through downtown Humboldt. The parade route (see map) will be the same as normal years, beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 4. The parade will begin on 1st Avenue North at the intersection with Taft Street and will travel west one block to 8th Street North, then south one block to Sumner Avenue and east on Sumner to 4th Street North, where the parade travels north to 4th Avenue North and then West to Taft Park and ending on Taft Street North.
“We have insurance and are lining up parade sponsors. We encourage anyone interested in participating of getting their entries in. They can do so by emailing humboldtiowaparade@gmail.com, or calling myself at (515) 351-1559, or Committee member Doug Vinsand at (515) 954-0449,” Lawman said.
