Humboldt girls will host regional semifinal

The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released post-season tournament pairings on Friday afternoon and Humboldt has been assigned to Class 4A Region 3.
The Wildcats draw a first round bye and will host Carroll or Storm Lake on Saturday, July 9, 7 p.m. in Humboldt.
The other half of Region 3 has Perry and Boone squaring off at Boone with the winner playing No. 1 ranked Adel-ADM on July 9 in Adel.
The regional championship will be played on Tuesday, July 12. The highest ranked remaining school will be the host of the regional championship game.
