Miller eyes starting linebacker spot at MSU
Matt Miller is feeling good about the upcoming season for his Minnesota State University football team.
Miller, a 2020 Humboldt High School graduate, begins his third season with the Mavericks and is looking at playing a bigger role at inside linebacker for the Mavericks.
The six-foot-2, 225-pounder saw action in every game for Minnesota State during the 2021 season, whether it was at linebacker or on special teams.
“I’m looking forward to getting back into camp and get started with football and school again,” Miller said in an exclusive interview with the Independent prior to the start of fall camp on Aug. 8.
