Humboldt girls in 50-47 victory at Clarion

Humboldt's varsity girls' basketball team improved to 3-3 overall, 3-1 in North Central Conference play by edging the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls, 50-47 in Clarion on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Morgan Mann scored 27 points to power Humboldt. Paige Nelson, Reagan Lee and Ava Fischer each scored seven points for the Wildcats. Bella Opheim added two.

Humboldt was scheduled to host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Dec. 22 in their final game before the holiday break. That game has been postponed until Jan. 19. Humboldt's game at Belmond-Klemme on Jan. 2 has been moved to Feb. 6. Humboldt hosts Fort Dodge on Jan. 3 starting at 4:30 p.m. There will be no JV game.

The Wildcats host Webster City on Friday, Jan. 6.
