Wildcat girls crown 3 champs at Ogden

Humboldt's girls' wrestling team crowned three individual Champions at the Ogden tournament on Saturday, Jan. 7.
Sophia Harris was first at 110 pounds in the Gold division while Sami Varangkounh (100-105) and Lexi Roberts (125A) were both first in the Silver division.
Mia Harris was second at 140 pounds (Gold) and Kennedy Robinson was second at 190 in the Silver division. Ella Olson took fourth in the 145-pound Gold division and Baylie Beers was fifth in the Gold 130-pound class. Abby Dorn was sixth in the 115-pound Gold division, along with Kennedy Robinson at 235.
Humboldt hosted LeMars, Spencer and Ridge View on Monday, Jan. 9. LeMars defeated the Wildcats, 42-39. Ridge View edged Humboldt, 39-36, and Spencer was a 45-30 winner over the Wildcats.
Humboldt will wrestle in the Waukee Northwest tournament on Saturday, Jan. 14.
