Wrestlers to 5-0 in NCC

The Humboldt boys’ wrestling team moved to 5-0 in North Central Conference duals, 9-0 overall by winning a four-team meet in Humboldt Thursday night, Jan. 12.

The Wildcats beat Algona (40-21), Iowa Falls Alden (71-6) and Webster City, 36-27. Victories over Clarion Goldfield Dows and Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Jan. 23 at Clarion would give Humboldt the outright league dual title.

Humboldt wrestlers go 3-0 at Hampton
The Humboldt boys' wrestling team went 3-0 in a quad at Hampton on Jan. 10 to improve to 6-0 overall on the year in duals, 2-0 in North Central Conference action.

Humboldt beat Hampton-Dumont-CAL 54-15, Ballard Huxley 44-36 and Mason City 68-12.

Humboldt will compete in the Osage Duals on Saturday, Jan. 14.
