Trever Beach, one of the top placekickers in the state last fall, will take his talents to Northwestern College at Orange City in the fall.

Beach, a Humboldt High School senior, signed a letter of intent last week to cement his commitment to the Red Raiders. Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty was on hand to sign Beach.

“I’m pretty excited to go to the next level and play football. It’s a little nervous, but I’m excited to go out and play again,” Beach said. “I felt right at home at Northwestern.”
