HHS girls edged 1-0 in OT shootout

Humboldt's varsity girls' soccer team battled Iowa Falls-Alden to a scoreless 100 minutes of play before the host Cadets won, 1-0 on a shootout in a conference game at Iowa Falls on Monday night, May 8.

The 1-0 loss dropped the Wildcats to 7-6 overall, 5-4 in North Central Conference play. The Cadets improved their NCC-leading record to 9-1, 10-3 overall.

Ava McIntire scored the only goal in a 2-1 loss to Wright County on May 4 at Belmond.

Reagan Lee scored two goals and Elsie Hubbell added another to lead Humboldt past Hampton-Dumont-CAL on May 2 in Humboldt, 3-1.

Humboldt fell 2-1 to Ballard Huxley on Friday night (April 28) in a non-conference match in Humboldt.
Lily Allison scored the only goal for the Wildcats.

Wildcats 2, Webster City 0
Elsie Hubbell scored the only two goals of the contest in leading Humboldt past Webster City, 2-0 on April 27 in Humboldt.

The Wildcats travel to East Sac County on May 9. They play at Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on May 11. Humboldt hosts Clear Lake on May 12 in its final game of the regular season. Regional tournament play begins on May 17.
