POST-SEASON PAIRINGS ARE OUT
Humboldt posted a storm-shortened 2-1 victory over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on May 11 in Humboldt. Humboldt is now 13-1 overall, 10-1 in league play.
Humboldt's No. 5 ranked soccer team improved to 12-1 on the season by blanking East Sac County, 9-0 at Wall Lake on May 9.
Wildcats in 9-2 victory over Cadets
Humboldt scored seven goals in the first half en route to a 9-2 victory over Iowa Falls-Alden on Monday night, May 8 in Humboldt. Humboldt moved to 9-1 in conference play.
Humboldt boys shutout Broncos, 5-0
Humboldt's varsity boys' soccer team pushed their season record to 10-1 overall by beating Wright County, 5-0 Friday night (May 5) in Humboldt.
Cristhian Ramirez scored two goals to lead Humboldt and Fin Mason, Will Orness and Trever Beach each had one for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats host Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on May 11. The Wildcats end their regular season at home on May 15 against HDC.
Post-season play begins on May 22 when the Wildcats will host Iowa Falls-Alden or Wright County. A win on May 22 would send the Wildcats into a substate final where they would face Mason City or Newton on May 24 for the right to advance to the state tournament in Des Moines. The state tournament will be played May 30, June 1 and June 3.
