Wildcat girls fall to Cardinals, 4-1

Humboldt's varsity girls' soccer team lost a 4-1 contest at home to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on May 11. Humboldt is now 8-7 overall, 5-5 in conference play.
Humboldt shutout East Sac County, 3-0 at Wall Lake on May 9.
Humboldt got goals from Tielyr Smith, Lily Allison and Reagan Lee to win their non-conference game over the Raiders. East Sac slipped to 4-8.
Humboldt plays host to Clear Lake on Friday, May 12.
Humboldt begins Class 3A regional tournament play at Garner on Wednesday, May 17, against Garner-hayfield/Ventura in a 7 p.m. contest. The winner plays either Gilbert, East Sac County or Greene County on May 23 at Gilbert. Gilbert drew an opening bye and hosts ESC or GC.
