Lynx rally past Humboldt in 5 sets

Webster City snapped a 10-year losing streak by rallying past the Humboldt volleyball team in five sets at Webster City on Thursday night (Aug. 31). The Lynx won by scores of 25-19, 17-25, 17-25, 25-18 and 17-15.

Webster City improved to 7-2 overall, 1-0 in the North Central Conference. Humboldt slipped to 3-5 overall, 0-1 in the NCC.

Next action for the Wildcats will be Tuesday, Sept. 5, at home against Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.

The Wildcats are at Clear Lake on Tuesday, Sept. 12. They'll compete in the Dike-New Hartford tournament on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Humboldt hosts Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Thursday, Sept. 21.
