Dettmann selected to play in Shrine Bowl

Corey Dettmann, one of the key playmakers on the Humboldt High football team the last few seasons, will get to wear his royal blue helmet one more time.
It was announced last week that Dettmann has been selected to play for the North squad in the annual Iowa Shrine Bowl All-Star Football game next July.
Dettmann played receiver and defensive back for Humboldt and earned all-district honors in Class 3A District 2. He caught 44 passes for 527 yards and three touchdowns. On defense he made 62.5 tackles, including 41 solos.
