Mann tops 1,000 point mark in Wildcat victory

Humboldt junior guard Morgan Mann topped the 1,000-point mark in her career Thursday night (Jan. 4) as the Humboldt girls basketball team defeated Belmond-Klemme, 37-33 in a non-conference game in the Humboldt gym.
Mann, a three-year starter, entered the game with 999 career points. She finished the hard-fought game with 10 points. Ava Fischer scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats, now 8-3 overall.
Humboldt returns to action on Friday night at home against Webster City in conference play.
