Lions Trivia Night is March 23 at fairgrounds
The Humboldt Lions Club will be hosting its second annual Humboldt Lions Club Trivia Night on Saturday, March 23 at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds Events Center. The evening of fun begins at 7 p.m. sharp.
The purpose of the evening is for everyone to have a good time but also raise money for an important cause, scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
“There will be 10 rounds of 10 questions each covering different topics. There will be two music categories and two video categories,” said Lions Club member and event organizer Mike Stegemann. “There will be two large screens to display the questions.
“We were really pleased with the turnout last year for the first year. This year we hope to get 25 tables,” Stegemann said.
The cost is $80 per table and attendees are asked to bring their own refreshments (food and beverages.)
Stegemann said there will be door prizes, prizes for the winning teams and some fun activities. Lion Brian Jergens will serve as the master of ceremonies.
