TRAVEL TO BOONE JULY 12 FOR SUBSTATE OPENER

Humboldt hosted Boone in a non-conference game in Humboldt on July 8, falling to the Toreadors, 5-2. The Wildcats slipped to 16-8 overall. Humboldt closes out its regular season at Greene County on July 9.

Wildcats outlast Spencer, 9-6
The Humboldt baseball team outlasted the Spencer Tigers, 9-6 on Wednesday night in Humboldt in non-conference play at Wildcat Field. The Wildcats improved to 16-7 overall.

Storm Lake shutout Humboldt, 7-0 in non-conference baseball at Storm Lake on Monday, July 1.

The Humboldt baseball team made it a season sweep over Iowa Falls-Alden with a 9-0 victory at Iowa Falls on June 27. The triumph improved Humboldt's record to 15-6 overall, 10-4 in the NCC.

Wildcats slug St. Edmond, 15-2
Humboldt easily defeated Fort Dodge St. Edmond, 15-2 Wednesday night, June 26 in Fort Dodge.

Wildcats pound Cowboys, 15-0
The Humboldt baseball team got back into the win column Monday night (June 24) by walloping Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, 15-0.

Late rally by Lynx edges HHS baseball team, 6-5
Webster City rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge the Humboldt baseball team, 6-5 in a North Central Conference game at Webster City on June 21.

Humboldt opened with a 5-0 lead after two innings before the Lynx tallied two runs in the third, one in he fourth and then three in the sixth.

The Wildcats visit Boone on July 12 in a first round substate game. The winner plays Algona or Webster City on July 15.
