Spirit Lake upends Wildcat boys, 68-49

Spirit Lake used a decisive first half performance en route to a 68-49 victory over the Humboldt boys' basketball team in a non-conference game in the Humboldt gym on Tuesday night, Dec. 10.

Elliot Carlson scored 17 points and Coen Matson had 14 to pace the Humboldt scoring. Dylan Stecker scored 25 points and Wesley Walz and Ethan Stecker each had 15 for the Indians.

Humboldt will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 14, when they host Fort Dodge at 4:15 p.m. inside the Humboldt gym. It will follow the varsity girls game which starts at 2:45. The JV girls' game begins at 1:15 p.m. The 9th girls will play at 12 noon in the Wildcat Athletic Center. The JV girls will play at 1:15 p.m. inside the WAC.

Humboldt will host Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Humboldt plays at Clear Lake in its final game before the Christmas break.
