Diedrick 2nd at Ogden to lead Wildcat girls' wrestling

OGDEN - Humboldt's Danica Diedrick placed second at 170 pounds to lead the Humboldt girls' wrestling team at the Ogden tournament on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Diedrick was 2-1 on the day to improve her record to 27-5 on the season.

Teammate Brooklyn Robinson placed fourth at 235 pounds for Humboldt. Robinson is now 26-3 on the season.

Humboldt finished 13th as a team with 58 points. Osage (231.5), Ankeny (209.5), South Tama (167), Spencer (144) and Algona (139) took the top three spots.

Humboldt returned to action at home on Jan. 13 when they hosted Lake Mills, Hampton-Dumont-CAL and West Fork in dual action. Humboldt beat West Fork (60-24) and HDC (74-6) and lost to Lake Mills (48-36).
