Humboldt senior Elsie Hubbell scored three goals to lead the Wildcat girls' soccer team past Hampton-Dumont-CAL, 4-1 in Hampton on Monday night, April 14. Sadie Hubbell scored the other goal as the Wildcats improve to 2-2 overall and in the North Central Conference.
Wildcat girls over Wright County, 4-1
Humboldt's varsity girls' soccer team won their first match of the season by turning back Wright County, 4-1 in Humboldt on April 10. Elsie Hubbell, Sadie Hubbell, Lily Allison and Aranza Gonzalez-Garcia each scored a goal for the Wildcats, now 1-2 overall, 1-1 in conference play.
2nd half lifts IFA past HHS girls, 3-1
IOWA FALLS – Iowa Falls-Alden scored two goals in the second half to pull away to a 3-1 victory over Humboldt in a girls' North Central Conference soccer contest at Iowa Falls on April 7. Elsie Hubbell scored the lone goal for Humboldt.
MC nips Humboldt in girls’ soccer opener, 1-0
Mason City scored in the second minute of the second half and held off the Humboldt girls’ soccer team, 1-0 in a season opener in Humboldt on Thursday night, April 3. Regali Gonzalez was able to kick the ball past Humboldt goalie Laina Dettmann for the game’s only goal. The Wildcats host Clear Lake on April 17.
Humboldt hosts Webster City on April 21. Humboldt travels to Garner on April 24.
