Tyler Carlson 4th in state high jump!

Humboldt High senior Tyler Carlson finished out his high school track career in impressive fashion by placing fourth in the high jump at the state track meet in Des Moines on May 22 inside Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
Carlson finished with a leap of 6-3.
Also on opening day, Humboldt's 4x800 relay of Jackson Dodd, Chase Flaherty, Mason Van Pelt and Jackson Flaherty finished 10th in 8:07.10. Humboldt's shuttle hurdle relay finished 14th in 1:03.26. It was comprised of Tyler Carlson, Valley Davis, Griffin Groat and Jackson Dodd.
On Friday, day two, senior Elliot Carlson finished 13th in the long jump with a leap of 20-8.75. Isaiah Busick finished 17th in the shot put (48-11) and Jack Guy (43-7.75) finished 22nd in the shot put.
