Lions edge Humboldt in 8 innings, 12-11

The Humboldt softball team jumped out to a 5-0 lead but couldn’t hold off a late rally by Clear Lake, falling 12-11 to the Lions in a North Central Conference game in Humboldt on Friday night, June 6 in Humboldt.

Algona rallies past Humboldt girls, 11-8
Algona scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and held off Humboldt, 11-8 in a girls' North Central Conference game at Algona on June 4. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 1-3 overall, 1-2 in the NCC.

Humboldt girls slug Webster City, 13-5
The Humboldt softball team got back on track with an impressive, 13-5 victory over the Webster City Lynx in a North Central Conference game in Humboldt on Monday, June 2. Gracie Lyon went 3-for-4 at bat with 3 runs batted in and a double. Adalee Nolting pitched all six innings to get the win.

SE tops Wildcat girls in NCC softball opener
Fort Dodge St. Edmond handed the Humboldt girls' softball team a 9-5 setback Friday night (May 30) in their North Central Conference opener at Rogers Park in Fort Dodge.

Humboldt opened their season at Southeast Valley on May 28 and fell 8-1 to the Jaguars.

The Wildcats host Clear Lake on Friday, June 6. They'll host Iowa Falls-Alden on Monday, June 9.
