Humboldt baseball team in pair of 13-2 victories over Webster City

The Humboldt baseball team pushed their season record to 16-4 overall by whipping the Webster City Lynx, 13-2 on June 16 in Webster City and on June 18 in Humboldt. Originally scheduled as a doubleheader in Webster City on June 16, the second game was postponed due to a thunderstorm and was moved to Humboldt on Wednesday, June 18.

Humboldt played at Fort Dodge High School on June 17 at McNeil Field and fell 22-7 to the 14-8 Dodgers in non-conference action.

Humboldt's next game is Monday, June 23, at home in a conference doubleheader against Algona starting at 5 p.m. Humboldt hosts Spirit Lake on June 24. They'll host Mason City on June 26.
