Camp means the start of fall sports!

Band camp, volleyball camp and football camp this week means one thing, the arrival of school and fall sports is just around the corner.

Humboldt High School is busy this week with camp sessions for all three areas. A fall sports kickoff open house is set for Friday, August. 8.

The evening will begin with the high school football camp from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the practice field. Public is welcome to watch. From 6-8 p.m. there will be a free will donation meal. At 6:30 p.m. in the Wildcat Athletic Center the volleyball team will give a brief demonstration. At 7:30 p.m. the dance team will perform on the football field. At 8 p.m. the band and cheer squad will perform on the field with the school fight song.

A coaches vs. alumni flag football game will take place from 8 to 8:40 p.m.

At 9 p.m. the movie Little Giants will be shown on the new digital video board at the south end of Mason Maach Field.
