Humboldt girls advance into regional final

The fifth-ranked Humboldt volleyball team advanced into a regional final after sweeping New Hampton in 3 sets in the Humboldt gym on Thursday night, Oct. 23. The 30-6 Wildcats won by scores of 25-22, 25-17 and 25-12.
Humboldt opened regional tournament play Tuesday (Oct. 21) by sweeping Charles City 25-14, 25-11 and 25-19.
Humboldt will host No. 10 ranked Roland-Story (34-7) in a regional final on Tuesday, Oct. 28. R-S defeated Williamsburg 25-15, 25-16 and 25-12 in a semifinal at Story City.
