CYNTHIA A. PRATICO

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” (Westfall) Pratico, 72, of Humboldt, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at the Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion.
Cindy was born March 22, 1954 in Storm Lake, the daughter of Keith Hugh and Catherine Marie (Bauman) Westfall. She was raised and educated in Humboldt and worked at A&W for many years. She attended a convention in Hawaii where she met Robert Pratico on the beach. Bob followed her back to Iowa and the two were married here. The couple made their home in Kauai and Cindy worked as a manager for a Subway Restaurant. They lived there for many years and returned to Humboldt as his health started to fail. Family was very important to Cindy and she enjoyed her times going to coffee with friends and her church group.
Cindy is survived by her daughters, Katie Jean Pratico and Kacie Cheyenne Cadiente, son-in-laws, Sherwin Macadangdang Cadiente and Aina Kim, her grandchildren; Makaio Kioni, Chloe Kailani Cadiente, Pa’a Morris-Pratico, Keanu Kamuela O’Makani Morris-Pratico and Lyrical Kawehilani Kim, her brother Brian (Sue) Westfall and her nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents and sister Bonnie.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, April 25 at Victory Church on the grounds of the Humboldt County Historical Museum. Visitation took place at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt. Family burial was in Union Cemetery. www.masonlindhart.com
