Linda Christine Reigelsberger, the daughter of Alan and Dorothea (Gregerson) Anderson, was born on Aug. 13, 1953, in Fort Dodge. She attended schools in Humboldt and graduated with the class of 1971. Linda furthered her education by attending American Beauty College in Des Moines. She was united in marriage to Dale Reigelsberger but the marriage later dissolved. On Dec. 24, 2016, Linda was engaged to her devoted fiancé, Bob Ford. She worked most of her life as a beautician and was also employed by Chantland’s as a machinist.
Linda loved her family but most of all loved her title “Grandma LuLu.” She attended as many of her grandchildren’s activities as she could. Linda had a way of “always taking care of everything” so her family never had to worry. Her love for Holstein cows was shown all throughout her home. In her spare time she enjoyed reading “romance” novels, crocheting, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, baking her famous soft caramel rolls and enjoying her butterscotch cocktails. Winter was a season Linda could do without and loved spending her winter vacations at Lake Havasu. One of Linda’s favorite days were the ones she spent with her best friend Julie.
Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Bob Ford of Gilmore City; children, Alanna (John) Warren of Bradgate, Leo (Lynette) Reiglesberger of Gilmore City and Kayla (Joe) Halsrud of Dayton; grandchildren, Ashley (Donald) Strohman, Kaiden Warren, Kristopher Parle, Emma, Natalie & Lukas Reigelsberger and Jaxson & RaeLynn Halsrud; great granddaughter, Ellie Strohman; Bob’s children, Patti “Bub” Maki, Sheri (Brian) Nepstad, Cindy (Craig) Sandven and Bobbi Ford; Bob’s grandchildren, Chloe, Cord, Jackson, Courtney, Emma, Tyler, Abigail, Nathan, Brynn, Taylor (Kobe), Braden, Grady and Cullen; siblings, Karen Anderson of Denver, Co, Patty Anderson Austin of Grinnell and Gary (Kirsten) Anderson of Red Wing, MN and; best friend, Julie Dvorak and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alan and Dorothea Anderson; son William John Reigelsberger and sister, Donna Anderson.
