Wildcat boys in 75-46 victory at Clarion

The Humboldt boys basketball team kept up their winning ways by rolling past Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, 75-46 on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 30) in Clarion. Humboldt is now 9-5 overall, 6-3 in conference play.
Wildcats down St. Edmond, 59-30
The Humboldt boys basketball team went on the road Friday night (Jan. 29) and defeated the Fort Dodge St. Edmond Gaels, 59-30. The victory improved Humboldt to 5-3 in conference play, 8-5 overall. It gave Humboldt a season sweep of the Gaels.
Wildcat boys upend Algona, 60-48
The Humboldt boys' basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with an impressive, 60-48 victory over the Algona Bulldogs on Jan. 26 in Humboldt.
Sam Fischer scored 19 points, Caden Matson had 12, Gabe Gidel made 9 and Trevor Jacobson added eight to lead Humboldt, which moved to 7-5 overall on the season, 4-3 in North Central Conference play. Garrett Goche scored 13 to pace Algona.
Humboldt hosts Hampton-Dumont-CAL on Tuesday, Feb. 1.
