Wildcat girls fall in regional final, 3-0

The Humboldt volleyball team battled fourth ranked Waverly Shell Rock in their Class 4A regional final in Waverly Tuesday night but fell short in three straight hard-fought sets by scores of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-16.
The loss ended Humboldt’s season at 29-7. WSR will take a 42-7 record into next week’s state tournament.
