Elizondo will join Triton wrestling team


Elizondo signed a national letter of intent on March 14 to attend Iowa Central and wrestle for the Tritons. Triton head coach Zach Hensley was in Humboldt for the signing event. Humboldt High senior Maria Elizondo was part of something special when she wrestled for the Wildcats the last few seasons.

Elizondo will be part of something special again next year when she joins the newly-formed Iowa Central Community College women’s wrestling team.
