Wildcat girls 2nd in Nielsen indoor track meet

Humboldt scored 84 points and finished second to Forest City (89) the Nielsen Family Indoor track meet held Friday, March 18 inside the Humboldt Recreation Center.
West Hancock of Britt was third with 65 points, followed by Algona at 48.
Humboldt had four individual champions and placed runner-up in several more events. Kenzie Peyton won the 800-meters in 2:52.15. Rylee Coyle won the shot put with a toss of 37-4. Morgan Mann won the high jump clearing 4-10. Mann also won the 200-meters in 29.08 seconds.
Humboldt will open its outdoor season at Clear Lake on Tuesday, April 5.
