Wildcat boys 4th in Bunn Relays

Humboldt's boys' track team opened their outdoor season by placing 4th their annual Charlie Bunn Relays on Thursday, April 6.
Mason Van Pelt won the 400-meters in 51.54 seconds and Lance Coon won the long jump with a leap of 19-4.
Algona took the team title with 162 points. Clear lake was second at 133.5 and Webster City third with 99. Humboldt had 85 points, Boone 76, Pocahontas Area 64, Eagle Grove 58.5 and Emmetsburg was eighth with 58.
Humboldt placed fourth in the Fort Dodge Dodger Relays on Monday night, April 10.
Lance Coon led the Wildcats by winning the long jump with a leap of 20-9.75. Mason Van Pelt won the 400-meters in 52.2 seconds. Humboldt's shuttle hurdle relay was second and consisted of Jackson Dodd, Coen Matson, Landyn Dencklau and Matson.
The Wildcats finished second in the Forest City Relays on Thursday, April 13.
The Wildcats finished fourth at Webster City on April 18. They will compete at Emmetsburg on Tuesday, April 25. The Storm Lake Relays are April 27.
