Felony charge dropped against Humboldt woman
Erin Rohrer, the Humboldt woman who was charged with solicitation to commit murder, a class C felony, has had the charge dropped according to the Webster County Attorney's Office and court records.

Ryan Baldridge, Webster County First Assistant County Attorney, has dismissed the criminal complaint of solicitation to commit murder charges against Erin Rohrer of Humboldt.
According to the documents filed in Webster County District Court, the charges were dismissed on May 19, just over a month after they were first filed.
Evan Thompson with the Division of Criminal investigations (DCI) stated during due diligence, the DCI chose to drop the charges because of issues with the witnesses and unreliable evidence.
During an interview with Erin Rohrer and her estranged husband, Alejandro “Alex” Hernandez, the alleged victim, the couple stated that they have been unable to tell their side of the incident.
“I couldn’t say anything to refute any of it. I couldn’t say that’s not what happened. I just had to sit and let my name be smeared,” Rohrer said.
