Wildcat girls go 3-3 in Humboldt tournament

The Humboldt volleyball team went 3-3 in their own tournament held last Saturday, Aug. 26.

South Hardin won the team title at 6-0, followed by Carroll Kuemper at 5-1. Humboldt, Fort Dodge and South Central Calhoun all had a 3-3 record with Spirit Lake going 1-5 and Grand View Christian 0-6.

Humboldt defeated GVC 2-1, Fort Dodge 2-1 and Spirit Lake 2-1. The Wildcats fell to SCC 2-0, South Hardin 2-0 and Kuemper 2-0.

Humboldt, now 3-4 overall on the young season, travels to Webster City on Thursday, Aug. 31, to face the Webster City Lynx in a North Central Conference opener.
